Research Interest: My research examines the intersection between racism-related stress and psychological thriving and how this relates to healing for Black people. My dissertation focused on creating a measure, titled the Radical Healing Inventory (RHI), that is rooted in the psychological framework of radical healing.

Research Interest: Haidi's research interests are related to trans-generational trauma and indigenous healing in different ethnic groups, micoraggressions in trainee-supervision experiences and multicultural competence, rupture of therapeutic relationship and attachment theories, and issues & challenges among international therapists practicing in the U.S.

Research Interest: Jade is interested in doing research in multiple areas which include research on ethnicity, at-risk adolescents, and intervention. She is also doing a project related to an implementation work where promoters share mental health resources to African-American parents of children ages 5-12.

Research Interest: Naomi's research interests are related applied behavior analysis especially in those with learning disabilities, those who are culturally blended, and those who suffer from uncontrollable, adverse habits. Another point of interest is in social exchange theory and the influence of relationships on people's behaviors.

Research Interest: JB's research interests include anything related to adolescence and identity development. Currently, he is interested in the role of support from family and peers in the identity development process for ethnic and gender minorities, and what the potential mental health outcomes may be based on the level of support received.
